ANNOUNCEMENT
After 23 years as a 501c3 not-for-profit, Suarez Dance Theater was dissolved December 31, 2025. Christine and collaborators are deeply grateful for the generous support of our audiences, donors and funders. It has been a truly beautiful experience to create and collaborate with so many different communities.
A shifting & reframing
Christine continues to pursue her exploration of the transformative power of moving and creating together. She is finding more opportunities for healing and connecting through the body. Now in her 16th year, she continues to work with veterans partnering with the Greater Los Angeles VA with support from the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs. It has been a profound experience to serve those who have served - deepening her faith in dance. Her newest endeavor is co-creating “Cultivating Kindness” with Susan Steinberg-Oren and Lesley Hyatt. Together they facilitate retreats and workshops rooted in mindfulness and self-compassion meditation practices integrated with creative writing and movement explorations.

Dance for Veterans Community Dance Day 10:15-11:30am PST
With funding from Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs & the California Arts Council, we are hosting a free, public, & virtual Dance for Veterans class. Join us to breathe, dance, create & meet some of the veterans and clinicians involved in this program. All abilities and ages welcome.
